Growing Beyond Borders: Tourismotion Awarded EU Funding for International Expansion

We’re thrilled to announce that Tourismotion has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Voucher Internazionalizzazione PMI 2025, a funding initiative promoted by Regione Lazio and co-financed by the European Union through the FESR 2021–2027 Program.

This contribution supports the international growth of small and medium-sized enterprises based in Lazio, with the goal of boosting their presence in global markets through strategic participation in international trade fairs.

Bringing Italian Culture to the World

At Tourismotion, we specialize in guided cultural group tours in Rome, Milan, and Florence, welcoming over 200,000 travelers every year and proudly holding more than 150,000 five-star reviews. This grant allows us to bring our passion for storytelling and cultural heritage to the global stage by participating in two of the most important events in the tourism industry: FITUR 2025 in Madrid and TTG Travel Experience 2025 in Rimini.

These international fairs are more than exhibitions — they’re opportunities. Opportunities to present new travel experiences, connect with partners, explore fresh markets, and understand how the tourism world is evolving.

Our Mission at the Fairs

With the support of this voucher, our participation is structured around four key goals:

  • Promoting our latest travel experiences, including seasonal highlights and custom-designed itineraries;
  • Connecting with international tour operators, travel agencies, journalists, and influencers to build long-term partnerships;
  • Understanding global travel trends through competitor benchmarking and direct feedback;
  • Strengthening our brand visibility to position Tourismotion as a leading provider of cultural group tours in Italy.

What We Achieved

At both FITUR and TTG, our team engaged in over 300 B2B meetings, held product presentations with key players from markets such as Spain, the U.S., and South America, and interacted with hundreds of travelers visiting our booth during the public days. We shared our materials, offered inspiration, and forged new connections that will fuel our next phase of growth.

We also participated in industry workshops, spoke to international media, and met content creators to expand our network and stay ahead of travel trends.

Marketing & Follow-Up Activities

To make a lasting impression, we created and distributed:

  • high-quality institutional brochure in English and Spanish;
  • Flyers dedicated to our most popular guided tours;
  • Branded business cards for follow-up contacts.

In the coming weeks, we’re continuing this work with:

  • Personalized follow-up emails to new business contacts;
  • Sending tailored proposals to promising partners;
  • Sharing information with travel media;
  • Analyzing the feedback and data we gathered to refine our future strategies.

Supporting Our Global Vision

Tourismotion was awarded a grant of €15,240 per trade fair, covering both FITUR and TTG 2025. This support is more than just financial — it’s a recognition of our work and our potential to represent Italian tourism on the international stage.

We are deeply grateful to the European Union, the Italian Republic, and Regione Lazio for their continued support.
